The Revd Sharon Langbis

The Revd Sharon Langbis joined the clergy team of St John's Cathedral in March 2019. Sharon comes from Benguet, one of the provinces of Cordillera Administrative Region of Northern Luzon, an area where the Episcopal Church in the Philippines (ECP) is particularly strong.

Sharon was trained at St Andrew’s Theological Seminary in Manila for four years. She was ordained deacon and spent the first two years of her ministry as a deacon intern; and she was ordained priest on 27th March 2012.

After ordination, she served as rector of the Clustered parish of St Augustine of Hippo, and St Margaret, a supply priest in Christ church parish in Baguio and then as curate at Baguio’s Cathedral of the Resurrection.

Now Sharon has settled in and is enjoying her life and work at St John’s Cathedral. When she isn’t working, she relaxes by walking and watching movies. She also loves people watching.
