Servers

The Servers Guild is a voluntary group assisting with all services at the Cathedral.

Servers help the Celebrant at each service by:

  • Preparing the altar
  • Checking the correct books are available
  • Leading procession
  • Presenting the offerings to the priest
  • Administer the Chalice at the Eucharist (after being specially licensed by the Bishop)

The Head Server is Mr James Choo, who also draws up a monthly rota.
