Cecilia Kwok Church Music Scholarship

The Fund offers scholarships of up to HK$100,000 per year to young people pursuing studies relevant to church music in Hong Kong or overseas.

Applicant may request access to and correction of their personal data held by the Fund. Data on unsuccessful candidates will be destroyed after evaluation when no longer required. Candidates will be considered under the criteria below (which trustees can modify or waive):

(1) at least 12, and under 30, on 1st September 2025

(2) members, children of members, or choir members (with two years good attendance) of St John’s Cathedral or a daughter church or a Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui parish

(3) musically talented and have at least these ABRSM grades (or equivalent):
* ABRSM grade 8 (or equivalent) in singing; or
* ABRSM grade 6 (or equivalent) in piano with conducting experience; or
* ABRSM grade 8 in piano or grade 6 in organ (or equivalent) with choral experience
