Harvest Thanksgiving [The 17th Sunday after Trinity]
12 Oct 2014
Collect
Harvest Thanksgiving: O eternal God,who crownest the year with thy goodness and dost give us the fruits of the earth in their season: give us grace that we may use them to thy glory, for the relief of those in need and for our own well-being; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. The 17th Sunday after Trinity: Almighty God, you have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless till they find their rest in you: pour your love into our hearts and draw us to yourself, and so bring us at last to your heavenly city where we shall see you face to face; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
